The composer for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda movie has been confirmed: Bafta-winning composer John Paesano.
The Legend of Zelda movie has been progressing well, as it seems to have started filming in November 2025. Since then, several videos featuring the movie sets have leaked online. Now, new details about the upcoming adaptation have been revealed, including the stunt doubles and the soundtrack composer.
The Legend of Zelda Movie’s Soundtrack Will be Composed by John Paesano
The news about the composer of The Legend of Zelda movie comes from an X post (formerly Twitter) by MikeOdysseyYT and the movie’s IMDb page. John Paesano will be coming on as the soundtrack composer. He will be advised by Koji Kondo, known for composing for video game franchises such as The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, and more.
Paesano has composed tracks for Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man games, Detroit: Become Human, Mass Effect Andromeda, and more. He won a Bafta for his work on Miles Morales and has worked on films such as The Maze Runner, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, and more.
The tweet also reveals the stunt doubles for Link and Zelda in the upcoming film, with Joel Abadal stepping in for Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Jacqueline Lee Geurts for Bo Bragason. Mike also highlights that the list of crew has been revealed on the IMDB page, with only the cast left to be announced, which is speculated to be revealed at the franchise’s 40th Anniversary celebrations in June.
In other news, The Legend of Zelda’s live-action Link and Zelda have been officially revealed in costume by Nintendo.
