Alex Garland’s Elden Ring Reportedly Features Nick Offerman
A new report by World of Reel states that Alex Garland’s Elden Ring movie will begin production this week, and “Nick Offerman has joined the cast in Scotland.” Nick Offerman is a highly popular name in the industry, having worked on series like Parks and Recreation and movies like The Founder and Civil War. Offerman has recently worked on a game adaptation as well, portraying Bill in HBO’s live-action adaptation of The Last of Us.
Moreover, the report also states that Offerman will be joining the likes of Kit Connor (Rocketman), Ben Whishaw (James Bond movies), and Cailee Spaeny (Civil War) in the upcoming movie, with more announcements seemingly arriving “in the coming days.” Other than that, no plot details or other announcements, such as the release window, have been officially revealed for the movie.
In other news, Group SNE is adapting another video game into a tabletop RPG, and it’s none other than FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Nightreign. Additionally, there’s a 400-page book that players can read to explore the game’s lore in greater detail. What are your thoughts on Nick Offerman being cast in Alex Garland’s Elden Ring movie?
