The Finals Has Been Shadowdropped By Embark Studios

The Finals, the high-octane, energetic, and innovative shooter from Embark Studios, has been shadowdropped. During The Game Awards, Embark Studios announced that The Finals’ first season is live now on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5, bringing about an all-new map and a fresh experience for the millions of players that will likely leap headlong into this free-to-play shooter.

The Start of The Finals

With an all-new trailer being revealed, Embark wasted no time in putting The Finals into production, dropping it out of nowhere during The Game Awards. It was revealed by the team that The Finals opens into Season 01, and a new map set in the heart of Las Vegas has been added to the already impressive line-up of locations in-game.

Not only that but the game’s backstory has also been expanded on, putting a little more meat on the bones of this destructive, attractive shooter.

It was just weeks ago that more than 7.5 million people found their way into the game’s beta. It generated a positive reception overall, boasting cutting-edge graphics, unique characters and abilities, and destruction that was reminiscent of Battlefield during the series’ heyday. Embark kept this shadowdrop well under wraps, which is easier said than done in this day and age.

Here’s the new trailer that surfaced at The Game Awards:
