Escape from Tarkov’s next (and likely final) map has been revealed in a segment during a recent Tarkov TV broadcast from Battlestate Games. In a clip and a series of shots later posted on social media, extraction shooter fans are given a glimpse at the new map, which includes heavily-armoured, organised military NPCs.
Unfortunately, fans were quick to notice that Terminal wasn’t included in the roadmap that Battlestate Games also revealed, which covers updates running until August 2025.
Terminal State
In a 40-second promo uploaded on social media, Battlestate Games provided a snippet of what’s to come with Terminal, what might be the final map in the Escape from Tarkov pool:
This could feature the mechanic that allows players to finally escape from Tarkov, which has been the plan all along.
During the recent episode of Tarkov TV, Nikita Buyanov and his team revealed the roadmap for 2025, which culminates in the full, ultimate release of Escape from Tarkov. It’ll finally be leaving a beta state and transitioning to a 1.0 version after many years on the market.
Talking of maps, Battlestate has planned major overhauls to every map that hasn’t already had one in the last year or two. Most recently, the team upgraded and expanded Shoreline, Customs, and Factory, but going forward, almost every other map will have further updates made to it:
- Lighthouse (May)
- Reserve (June)
- Shoreline (July)
- Ground Zero (July)
- Interchange (August)
Fans are now waiting to see how and when Terminal will take shape in a much more meaningful way.
