Take That Mainstage is the ultimate wannabe rockstar life sim, where players compete to be the next big thing in Emerald City.
Described as a game that appeals to those who enjoy the likes of Dave the Diver and Chinese Parents, Take That Mainstage offers unique life sim experiences, designing and crafting real, playable songs, management gameplay, and rhythm games.
After launching a Steam demo in March 2026, the aim is to go gold in October this year, with a full launch in March 2027.

Grinding
Practice guitar, increase your talent and rhythm game ability before taking to the share. Share your music, head out in the city, and busk for money and skill. Rehearse and manage the egos of your band to level up and become the top draw in the city.
Crafting
Create your own original music with the simple drag-and-drop song crafter, no musical knowledge required! Use thoughts you’ve collected as lyrics; the more valuable, the higher the chance of a hit. Buy or win additional gear for infinite musical possibilities.
Competition
Complete nightly against traveling bands and quarterly against the big boss ‘local’ bands. Play the songs you craft live on stage through exciting rhythm mini-games. Or, become the top radio sensation, level up your recording skills, and submit your songs to crush the weekly radio contests.

The Studio Behind Take That Mainstage
Fingers on the Moon is the studio behind Take That Mainstage, with co-founder Mark Mikunas doing all of the coding, having spent over 20 years at several high profile tech companies and startups.
Cassandra Liu, another co-founder, manages the day-to-day operations, alongside designing many of the algorithms and song writing. She is also an independent musician, debuting her first album.
