T1 Support Keria Breaks Record For All-Time LCK Assists

T1 support Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok has officially become the player with the most LCK assists of all time.

With 6191 assists and counting, Keria has now overtaken his teammate Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok to claim the record.

And Keria did so in more than 600 fewer games, having played 1009 to Faker’s 1692 — though Keria’s support role does naturally pick up more assists.

Keria could also claim the LoL Worlds all-time assists record later this year should T1, the team that has won the last three World Championships, qualify.

Keria is currently just nine Worlds assists behind Faker’s record of 1001.

Meanwhile, his botlane partner Kim ‘Peyz’ Su-hwan broke the all-time LoL esports pentakills record last month.

And the newest T1 member then recorded another, to extend his record to 14 career pentas.

After a difficult LCK cup, T1 appear to be returning to form, claiming a second-place finish in the LCK Rounds 1-2 regular season.

They have qualified for the Esports World Cup and will face league leaders Hanwha Life Esports in the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs with an eye on MSI qualification.

Is Keria The Best Player in the World?

Keria’s legacy is continuing to grow as he establishes himself well within the best support of all time arguments.

With Faker not as dominant as he once was and Jeong ‘Chovy’ Ji-hoon struggling with injury, some even argue that Keria could currently be the best player in the world.

He has been integral to T1’s success in recent years with his aggressive playmaking ability and his remarkably deep champion pool — even single-handedly changing the meta at Worlds 2023 by playing marksmen as supports.

Keria has continued to make game-changing plays, with a recent Seraphine ultimate against KT Rolster showcasing how lethal he can be from the game’s traditionally least aggressive position.

And in other LCK news, T1 has extended CEO Joe Marsh’s contract until 2029.
