Capcom and JOYCITY have revealed Resident Evil: Survival Unit, an all-new mobile experience that features a huge array of characters from the last 30 years of Resident Evil history. The full line-up of characters is yet to be officially unveiled, but a graphic on the Survival Unit site and a new gameplay breakdown have given us a glimpse at the most important ones.
This game has been dubbed a ‘dream come true’ for fans simply because it offers so many performances from characters who might not have had their appropriate time in the spotlight over the years.
You’ll Recognise All The Survival Unit Characters
In a visual uploaded on the Survival Unit site, we get a glimpse at the suite of characters coming to the game. The pack is fronted by Ethan Winters, Jill Valentine, and Leon Kennedy, who are flanked by Carlos Oliveira, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong.
The supporting characters in the back are made up of a collection of side characters we’ve rubbed shoulders with in the games over the last three decades:
- Marvin Branagh
- Merchant
- Robert Kendo
- Barry Burton
- Becca Woolett
- Alyssa Ashcroft

As I showed you earlier, Resident Evil: Survival Unit features a variety of popular characters from previous titles. Iconic characters from across the series come together in one world to create a special experience for all Resident Evil fans.
This game is built on the foundation of a strategy model, and players can build teams represented by these legendary characters, leading them into battle against scores of enemies in ways they never thought possible. From survival mechanics to intense fighting sequences, and from stacks of puzzles to a plethora of iconic locations, Survival Unit has plenty packed under the hood.
