The actor who plays Zangief in the latest Street Fighter movie reveals that all actors have signed on for three films.
The Street Fighter live-action movie was released earlier this month, and while critics haven’t loved it, it seems to be doing okay with fans. It’s not even been half a month since the adaptation was released, and we have already started hearing about sequels, with Cody Rhodes wanting to return for Part 2 and now the Zangief actor talking about actors signing for 3 movies.
Street Fighter Zangief Actor Says Their Character Will Shine in the Sequel, ‘Was the Promise’
Spotted by IGN, Zangief actor from the Street Fighter movie, Olivier Richters, or ‘TheDutchGiant ‘, has stated that all actors have signed for 3 movies. In a new YouTube video, Richters commented about his character’s presence in the movie. He said the movie aimed to show a glimpse of the character’s power and leave the audience wanting more.
Richters added that “all actors,” including him, have “signed for 3 movies,” adding that the promise to him was that “Zangief will shine” if a sequel is made. The actor also added that a 2-hour movie with so many characters already makes it hard for one character to shine in the first installment, but thanked the community for wanting to see more of him.
