Star Fox is a highly popular third-person action-adventure series around space flight simulation and rail shooting. Industry veteran Shigeru Miyamoto has created it. The first title in the series was a top-down rail shooter released in 1993 for the SNES. The next game, released in 1997, added more movement and features like multiplayer.
The series continued to improve until the last 2 games, Star Fox Zero and Star Fox 2, which were released in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Since then, we have yet to see any other mailine instalment to the series, and a return feels long overdue.
In other news, a known leaker has stated Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition could be released this year, and it might even be sooner than later.
