Nintendo continues to enjoy a year packed with releases, and Splatoon Raiders’ release date is now on the horizon, with the franchise set to drop its first Switch 2 exclusive title.
After the likes of Pokémon, Mario Kart, and Donkey Kong launched next-gen exclusive titles, Splatoon Raiders is joining that gang with a new spinoff title for the franchise, focused predominantly on single-player.

When is Splatoon Raiders Coming Out?
Splatoon Raiders is set for release on Nintendo Switch 2 exclusively on Thursday, July 23, but time zone differences mean players in some locations may get the title earlier.
Splatoon Raiders is the first title in the franchise in four years, excluding 2024’s Side Order DLC, and will be the fourth title of the franchise, which debuted in 2015.
Rather than being a mainline game, Splatoon Raiders is a spinoff title and is primarily single-player focused on an exploration of the Spirhalite Islands.
A cooperative mode of up to four players is also available, online or locally, and is described by those who have experienced a preview as a mix between a Roguelite and a looter-shooter title.
What Time Does Splatoon Raiders Release?
The exact time Splatoon Raiders is available worldwide depends on your region and time zone, with some players, technically, getting their hands on the game earlier.
Though not yet officially confirmed, it seems that those in some areas of the United States will be able to jump in on the late evening of July 22, while those in areas like Australia and New Zealand will have to wait until the afternoon of July 23.
It all depends on whether Splatoon Raiders has a staggered global launch, which would see the game drop at midnight local time in all regions, or a staggered launch, which would result in many time differences. However, even if it is a global launch, there are ways to access the game earlier.
