Black Myth: Wukong is set to have a big presence at Gamescom at the end of August.
Insider Gaming’s sources can confirm that the game will be playable at Gamescom with “dozens of machines” for those in attendance. In addition to being playable, Opening Night Live will feature a world premiere look at the game for those who aren’t able to be in attendance.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG title that is based on the Chinese folklore from the 16th-century novel Journey to the West. Players take on the role of Sun Wukong, referred to as the Destined One” in a game that has been described as “Souls-like”.

The game was first announced back in 2020, and is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
The game is expected to launch summer of 2024. Those official platforms aren’t confirmed, Black Myth: Wukong will launch on PC and “other main-stream consoles”. Last-gen consoles and the Nintendo Switch are up in the air.
