Sony Claims GTA 6 Plays ‘Best on PS5’

It seems like one of the consoles might be the better choice to experience GTA 6, as Sony claims that the PS5 is the best platform to play Rockstar’s upcoming title.

The day for pre-orders of GTA 6 is almost here, and Rockstar has shared details about the pre-order bonuses, pricing, and the Ultimate Edition of the game. Additionally, Sony has released a new blog post for GTA 6, outlining the features that players can expect to enjoy on the PlayStation 5.

Sony Reveals PS5 Features for GTA 6

As we all know, as of now, the GTA 6 is only releasing for the flagship consoles on November 19, which include the XBOX Series X/S and the PlayStation 5; however, it seems like the PS5 might be the way to go for the best experience. Through a new blog post, Sony has stated: “Thanks to the close partnership between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI will play best on PS5 by taking advantage of PS5’s immersive features to deliver a deeply engaging single-player experience when it launches on November 19.”

The PS5 offers impressive features, particularly with its DualSense wireless controller. This controller responds to your actions by providing “sights, sounds, and sensations of Jason and Lucia’s story right in your hands.” This immersive experience is made possible through haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and an integrated speaker in the controller.

Additionally, players of GTA 6 on PS5 will benefit from Tempest 3D AudioTech, which provides a more immersive audio experience. Another feature that enhances immersion is the ability to explore the “expansive world of Leonida” with near-instant loading times, thanks to the PS5’s SSD.
