We hope you’re hungry for another gaming-related showcase because another one is on the way. On Friday, June 23rd, Sonic the Hedgehog’s future will be revealed in full by Sega during an all-new Sonic Central showcase. This marks the 328th gaming showcase this year.
Not really.
In the words of Sega, fans of the blue speed demon can tune into the broadcast to get ‘a sneak peek of some of our upcoming projects, partnerships, and events happening in 2023’.
Sonic Central is Here
Personally, I’m a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan. It was the first franchise I remember playing when I was young, sitting there on Green Hill Zone while my trust Sega Megadrive was chugging happily away on the floor, connected to a TV that was heavier than the car I own today.
On Friday, June 23rd – which is the 32nd anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, the Sonic Central showcase will be broadcasted across both Twitch and YouTube:
We’ll likely see a little more on Sonic Superstars, which was announced around two weeks ago, and we’ll potentially see something more on Sonic Frontiers. It all kicks off at 8 am PST / 11 am EST tomorrow.
What are you hoping to see at the Sonic Central showcase?
