There are two new regions added in Genshin Impact version 7.2, Novokitezhgrad and Wingspan Peak, and with that, we have 3 new Shrines of Depths in Snezhnaya. Each Shrine of Depths contains a Luxurious Chest and is needed to complete 100% exploration.Â
They also have a very high chance of containing one of the three keys required to unlock a Treasure Vault in Genshin Impact. Here’s the location of each new Snezhnaya Shrine of Depths and any prerequisites you have to do.
How to get to Crystal-Tree Grotto Shrine of Depth in Genshin Impact

You don’t need to complete any prerequisite quests or puzzles to get to this location. Simply unlock the Statue, and you should have good visibility to navigate the map. Teleport to the Teplo Oasis Statue of the Seven and follow the path South. You will find the Shrine of Depth along the way to the Hallowed Plain. This Shrine of Depth can be opened using a Snezhnaya Shrine of Depths Key.
Old Kitezhgrad Shrine of Depth
You have to finish two long questlines just to get to this Shrine of Depth location. Teleport to the second Waypoint in the Old Kitezhgrad. The Shrine of Depth will be right up ahead and can be opened with a Snezhnaya Shrine of Depths Key.
Here’s a quick guide:
- Complete the First, Let the Earth Open Its Maw questline
- This questline is triggered after completing the Citadel of the Ancient Fae questline.
- It will unlock the Wingspan Peak area.Â
How to Get Snezhnaya Shrine of Depths Keys
The Snezhnaya Shrine of Depths Keys can be obtained as rewards for progressing through the Meeting Points in Genshin Impact.
Currently, there are five Meeting Points, two of which were added in version 7.2. Other Keys can be obtained as rewards for leveling up the Statue of the Seven in Snezhnaya using Cryoculus.
