Saber and Lionsgate took to the PlayStation State of Play event to reveal that John Wick stars Keanu Reeves in full voice and likeness as the titular character. This highly-anticipated shooter is a no-holds-barred representation of the movie series, boasting a similar soundtrack, combat mechanics, and visuals.
It’s worth stressing that, despite having the title card ‘John Wick’, the game isn’t actually named John Wick. But it works!
Be Seeing You
In January, Lionsgate confirmed that John Wick and SAW games were in development, and while SAW remains under wraps, John Wick has been unveiled with a phenomenal new trailer, which you can see below:
The first John Wick movie surfaced more than ten years ago, kick-starting a modern classic that would go on to spawn several more movies and spin-off projects. There are few hitman characters as instantly recognizable as Wick, who remains one of the most formidable action characters to emerge in the last few decades.
Saber Interactive continues to cook John Wick, which doesn’t have a release window at present. This will be one to watch for sure.
