Earlier this year, I reviewed the Sihoo C300, pitting it against a competitor in a head-to-head battle. The C300 won the fight, and now, weeks later, I’m here to review the Sihoo C300 Pro V2, an evolution over the lower-tier chair. Fortunately, the upgrade is tangible in every sense of the word, and I’m extremely impressed by the all-new chair.
It might not have the most attractive price point, but the Sihoo C300 Pro V2 is worth every penny, featuring some remarkable innovations that push it to be the ‘first full-body dynamic ergonomic chair’ ever made.

Is The Sihoo C300 Pro V2 Worth The Price?
Let’s address the elephant in the room. Despite not boasting a ‘premium name’ in the gaming chair space, the Sihoo C300 Pro V2 carries a hefty price. At the time of writing, the RRP of the unit was a cool $499.99 (but on sale for $429.99 with a launch promotion).
It’s not as expensive as a high-tier Razer or Secretlab, and it’s not a patch on the eye-watering tag on a Herman Miller, but it’s getting up there.
But I want to explain why the Sihoo C300 Pro V2 is worth every penny.
First, it accommodates the larger gamer (or desk-based worker) with ease, soaking up a maximum weight of an immense 180 KG, one of the highest weight capabilities I’ve ever seen for an ergonomic chair. Every inch of the chair is designed for comfort, regardless of your size, which is very nice.
The core seat area is designed to be breathable at all times, and flexible, yet extremely durable. It utilizes Sihoo’s Cloud Mesh 2.0, which I can confirm feels absolutely fine on your tuchus after hours of sitting. It helps that this is a smart chair that automatically adjusts recline resistance based on your weight.
It’s as adjustable as can be, too. There’s a ‘DynaCore System’ that offers support across your head, neck, back, lumbar region, and arms, adapting to your body from the moment you sit down. Every aspect of the chair can be altered to suit your needs – the headrest, the lumbar support, the seat base, and of course, the insane 8D Bionic Armrests.
That’s right, 8D.
They pivot, twist, tilt, and bend more than any armrest on the market, and they’re comfy to boot. But, if I have one problem with this chair, it’s how they adjust. It’s the kind of ratcheting mechanism that means if you over-adjust something, you need to fully reset that component and adjust it again until you get it right. It’s also designed to be fluid at all times, so you can accidentally lose your position if you bump or graze the armrest or headrest.
At first blush, the Sihoo C300 Pro V2 is worth every penny of that $499.99, but let’s go a little further.
Sihoo C300 Pro V2 is a Top Contender
If you’re looking for a chair for a larger person, whether it’s height or width, I’d hugely recommend the Sihoo C300 Pro V2. It’s a heavy, supportive unit that feels perfectly durable, and having already used a Sihoo chair for months, I can attest to the build quality.
What’s more, you can invest a little extra with a footrest that slots effortlessly into the base of the unit, to promote even more comfort and relaxation from this chair. Grab a footrest, utilize the full tilt, and you can even sleep in the Sihoo C300 Pro V2!
That’s another topic to touch on – the ease. Building the Sihoo C300 Pro V2 took all of about twelve minutes. It’s a hefty thing that arrives in two boxes, but it’s a one-pager when it comes to instructions, and there’s almost no complexity in its construction.
Sihoo claims it has chairs in more than 10 million households worldwide, and it’s easy to see why. This Chinese manufacturer is fast becoming a top contender for the upper echelons of the gaming chair space, without marketing itself as gaming-specific.
To wrap up, my verdict on this chair is that it’s a brilliant alternative to the top players in the gaming chair space. It’s immensely comfortable, hugely customizable, and it looks brilliant in any room. It’s so ergonomic and futuristic that it looks like it should have a price tag three times what it does.
