Things have been pretty silent on the Call of Duty esports front for several weeks, ever since the Esports World Cup wrapped up. The closing multiplayer event of the season saw OpTic Gaming secure back-to-back trophies, shortly after FaZe Vegas won COD Champs on home turf, ending a multi-year dry spell for the organization.
This year’s rostermania hasn’t been quite as electric as in previous between-season breaks, but that could be about to change. In a recent report, it was suggested that the face of FaZe Vegas is about to change, with Drazah looking to move on while Scrap and HyDra come into the roster.
FaZe Vegas Facing Major Changes
In a post on social media from TheGhostofHope, it was claimed that a massive change is taking place behind closed doors in the FaZe Vegas camp. The Call of Duty League wrapped up this season’s run with a monumental victory secured by FaZe Vegas, lifting the COD Champs trophy after defeating OpTic Texas in a dramatic grand final showdown.
Hope claimed that Drazah’s contract negotiations with FaZe have ‘come to a standstill’ and that he’s actively looking to relocate for the upcoming season, which will play out on Modern Warfare 4.

It was also suggested that Scrap and HyDra will be coming to the starting lineup, while Alluka will return to the organization after going out on loan, filling out the four-man lineup with Simp, the longest-serving member of the FaZe team.
Many have suggested it’s Drazah’s way of saying he doesn’t want to team with Scrap. The pair have long harbored a serious beef with one another that has manifested in the most public of theatres. There’s no love lost between the two, and them teaming together might present a chemistry blocker that’s too sizeable to overcome.
Drazah, a two-time COD world champion, would likely have his pick of the CDL when it comes to his relocation. As I said, rostermania is yet to really run wild.
