Arkane Announces Redfall Will Launch at 30FPS on Console

Arkane Studios has taken to Twitter to announce that Redfall will run at 30FPS on both consoles on its release. In the announcement, it was revealed that the game will run at 4K 30FPS on the Xbox Series X and 1440p 30FPS on the Xbox Series S.

Arkane continued to say that a 60 FPS Performance mode will be added via a game update at a later date.

In February, it was revealed by the Redfall FAQ page that Redfall single-player will still require an internet connection.

“Will playing Redfall require an online connection for single-player as well as co-op?” One question states, with the answer: “A persistent online connection is required for single-player and co-op.”

Redfall was first announced during the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 showcase on June 13, 2021, and following delays, Redfall is set to launch on Xbox and PC platforms on May 2nd.

What do you think about Redfall running at 30FPS?
