New PlayStation State of Play Announced Featuring 20 Minutes of Final Fantasy XVI Gameplay

Sony has announced that Playstation will be presenting a new State of Play this Thursday featuring 20 minutes of new Final Fantasy XVI Gameplay.

Announced on the official PlayStation Twitter account, the State of Play will start on Thursday at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST.

Judging by the announcement, the State of Play will not feature any other games and instead will only feature Final Fantasy XVI ahead of its June 22, 2023 release. In March, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XVI had officially gone gold.

Rumors have suggested that a new PlayStation Showcase will be taking place before Summer Game Fest on June 8, but no official details have yet been confirmed.
