If you think the news is only negative, then this is a story to change that for you. A 96-year-old woman and an 85-year-old man won a Wii Bowling LAN tournament in France.

Jeanine and Gilbert won the tournament over the weekend that was hosted by Gamers Assembly. The event was the organizer’s annual Gamers Assembly Festival which featured a number of events for attendees. Gamers Assembly also holds tournaments for other games such as Overwatch 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Hearthstone, and more.

You can see the moment Jeanine and Gilbert won, as well as the crowd’s reaction, below.

Wii Bowling launched back in 2006 alongside the Nintendo Wii as part of the packaged Wii Sports title. Over the years, it’s been a game that has brought people of all ages together for fun.

To see that there are people continuing to enjoy the game, no matter the age is nothing short of heartwarming.

If you want to play some Nintendo bowling but don’t have a Wii, you can bowl in Nintendo Switch Sports that’s out now.
