PVISION has secured the ultimate win on a Parisian stage at the Esports World Cup, defeating BetBoom Team at the final post to secure the trophy and the lion’s share of the massive prize pool. It was a 3-1 scoreline that saw PVISION net the $750,000 prize, and through this win, the team has secured incredible momentum for The International 2026.
This was PVISION’s second major victory of the season at the top tier possible, as earlier this year, they claimed the top spot at the DreamLeague Season 29 circuit.
PVISION Nets $750 Prize in Paris
PVISION entered the final series against BetBoom with immense aura, standing firm as the tournament favorite and living up to all expectations. Things went awry in the opening round, and BetBoom went one point up after a 48-minute all-out battle, but after that, it was all she wrote for BetBoom.
In a game lasting more than an hour, PVISION pieced apart BetBoom, keeping up the momentum across the next two rounds and demolishing the team with a 29-7 scoreline in the closing game. BetBoom might have looked strong out of the gate, but that buzz quickly fizzled out.
The moment PVISION lifted the trophy on the Esports World Cup stage in Paris, they became cemented as the frontrunners for the upcoming The International 2026 tournament, the biggest competition in the Dota 2 space. The explosive performance left them with a well-deserved $750,000 grand prize and a thick stack of Club Championship points.
