Dota 2 legends such as Artour ‘Arteezy’ Babaev, Tal ‘Fly’ Aizik, and Kurtis ‘Aui_2000’ Ling qualified for Canada. Elsewhere, popular broadcast talent and former Analyst Robson ‘TeaGuvnor’ Merritt stepped in as a player to help Great Britain qualify.

How each team qualified for the ENC Dota 2 tournament
In addition to the 16 invited nations, 15 teams in total qualified through regional qualifiers. They qualified through the following pathways:
- North America: Canada
- South America: Peru, Ecuador
- Western Europe: Finland, Great Britain
- Eastern Europe: Czechia, Greece
- MENA/Central Asia: Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan
- Southeast Asia/Oceania: Philippines, Thailand
- South/East Asia: Mongolia, Pakistan
- Sub-Saharan Africa: South Africa
- Host Region Slot: Saudi Arabia
That means that 31 of the 32 teams for ENC 2026 Dota 2 are decided, with one spot reserved for a wildcard ‘Solidarity Slot.’ Solidarity slots are special wildcards given to underrepresented regions in their title, with the beneficiary still to be decided.
