The latest set in the Pokémon TCG has been officially revealed by The Pokémon Company, with Mega Greninja and Mega Floette starring in the set.
Pokémon‘s TCG is currently in the midst of the Mega Evolution era, introducing a wealth of new Mega Pokémon to the TCG that were first introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Mega Greninja is undoubtedly the star of the set.
Pokémon TCG Chaos Rising Releases May 22

While all eyes look ahead to Perfect Order, releasing later this month, the next step on the Pokémon TCG schedule has been revealed with Chaos Rising, set for a worldwide release on May 22, 2026.
The set is largely comprised of cards that featured in the Japanese sets Nihil Zero, which was released in January, and Ninja Spinner, which is releasing on March 13.
Headline cards including SIRs for Mega Greninja, Mega Floette, and Mega Dragalge, alongside IRs for the likes of Froakie, Fennekin and Crobat. However, this is based on the Japanese sets, and it has not been revealed yet which cards will be used for promos.
In total, Chaos Rising features five Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, five Pokémon ex, 11 Illustration Rare, 18 Ultra Rare Pokémon and Trainer Cards, and six Special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Supporter Cards.
Chaos Rising is expected to be the final set before the big Pokémon 30th anniversary, which was revealed last month. For the first time, the set will be released simultaneously in Japan and worldwide.
Pre-orders on the Pokémon Center for Chaos Rising, including the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Boxes, are expected to take place in the coming weeks, but no precise details have been revealed.
