Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt Event: Release Date, Start Times & All Content

Pokémon Pokopia continues to bring new content post-launch, and a new event is on the horizon, introducing Sableye to the game, along with fresh items.

Pokopia’s widely successful launch has opened the door for continued content drops, with fans hoping that full DLC will be available later down the line, and it’s clear there are plans for fresh content, with Sableye set to become the fourth post-launch addition to the roster.

If you’re excited for the Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt event and want all the details on when it kicks off, Insider Gaming has you covered.

The Sableye’s Gem Hunt Event in Pokémon Pokopia kicks off on April 29, 2026, running through to a conclusion on May 14.

This marks the third post-launch event for Pokopia, following on from an event that introduced Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff to the game, and an April Fool’s event with an Inflatable Sudowoodo reward.

Like the previous events, the content is actually available now if you time skip on your console by setting your time and date to be within these periods, but there’s no real benefit to unlocking the content early.

Given that the event is also due to run for an extensive period of time, you won’t need to rush through it, so the best approach is to just wait until launch.

What Time Does the Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt Event Start?

The Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt event begins at 5 AM local time on April 29, running for over two weeks.

As the event has a set structure with a staggered start time globally, you won’t need to wait for an awkward time in your location. Instead, it will be available on April 29 as long as you log in after 5 AM.

In total, the event runs for over two weeks, ending at 04:59 AM local time on May 14. After this date has passed, content from the event will be unavailable.

However, you may be able to re-access the event content by changing your console time and date back to the event period, though this won’t be confirmed until after the event concludes.

All Content in the Pokémon Pokopia Sableye’s Gem Hunt Event

The main highlight of the Sableye’s Gem Hunt Event in Pokémon Pokopia is the introduction of Sableye to the roster, adding a fourth event-exclusive Pokémon to the game.

Sableye will come alongside a new habitat and several new items, including camping-themed decorations and buildings, like a Tent Kit, Sleeping Bag, Camping Chair, and Digital Camera.

Similar to the Hoppip event, new items will be obtained by exchanging event-specific currency, in this case, Red Crystal Fragments. Items will be purchaseable through the shop inside any rebuilt Pokémon Center.

If you miss out on any rewards or want extra, even after the event has passed, you can use the camera function and the 3D printer to replicate the item.
