Pokémon Champions Twitch Rivals: All You Need to Know

Pokémon Champions will have its first official tournament this week in Twitch Rivals.

The event will see content creators battle each other in doubles for a share of the $50k prize pool.

There will be quite a mix of participating streamers, with 16 participants in total.

These include popular VTuber shxtuo and former Achievement Hunter and Rooster Teeth member Matt’ AxialMatt’ Bragg.

Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Pokémon Champions event.

How to Watch Pokémon Champions Twitch Rivals?

The entire tournament will be streamed live on the TwitchRivals Twitch channel.

On the primary stream, the tournament will be commentated by Adam Save, Aaron ‘Cybertron’ Zheng, and Sierra Dawn.

Each creator’s perspective will also be viewable on their individual Twitch channels.

The event will take place on April 29 at 14:00 PDT/ 17:00 EDT.

Pokémon Champions Twitch Rivals Format

The 16 players will be split into groups of four to decide seeding before a single-elimination bracket determines the champion.

The whole tournament will be played in doubles and will feature best-of-ones except for the final, which will be a best-of-three.

The $50k prize pool will be distributed as follows:

1st – $3,500
2nd – $3,400
3rd – $3,350
4th – $3,250
5th – 6th $3,150
7th – 8th $3,100
9th – 12th $3,050
13th – 16th $2,950
