Avengers Doomsday continues to get closer and closer, and there’s no denying it’s going to be a cultural phenomenon when it drops on December 18, 2026. In an effort to build the hype, Marvel Rivals has been running the Path to Doomsday, a series of live events that celebrate the prior Avengers films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It began in April with the Path to Doomsday: Avengers event, but now we’re nearing the finale with Avengers: Infinity War. Once again, NetEase is mixing things up, with a new game mode ready to play.
Will it be the best entry into the Path to Doomsday yet? There’s only one way to find out, and that’s by getting involved. Here’s when the Infinity War live event begins in Marvel Rivals.
Path To Doomsday: Infinity War Release Date
The next chapter of the Path to Doomsday begins on October 9, with the next event themed around the third Avengers movie, Infinity War.
The formula is set to change once again, as this time around the LTM will feature 12 players split into six teams of two, where you’ll fight against other duos in 2v2 battles until a winner is crowned.
In between each round, though, you’ll select different modifiers that drastically shift your attacks, and then there are the Infinity Stones to contend with. Each team will possess one of the six Infinity Stones, with each one granting a unique ability. Kill a team, claim their Stone, and be crowned the game’s winner.
Path To Doomsday: Infinity War Start Times
Exact start times for the Infinity War event in Marvel Rivals haven’t been shared, but judging from prior release patterns, it’s likely to begin alongside Season 10.5 at 3 AM PT.
Since there’s no new character to get to grips with the seasonal split, all eyes are bound to be on the latest Path to Doomsday game mode. With Endgame following suit shortly afterwards, it’s going to be a hectic October for the hero shooter.
