During today’s State of Play event, Pocket Pair announced that Palworld has launched for PS5 consoles.
Players already had an idea about Palworld’s release for PS5, with many reports hinting at it. However, it was speculated that the announcement would arrive during the Tokyo Game Show 2024 later this week and not during today’s State of Play event. Palworld is priced at $29.99 on the PlayStation Store and is available now for PS5 consoles.
About Palworld
Palworld is an open-world, multiplayer, survival-crafting game where you use creatures called Pals to do your bidding. Players can use these Pals to fight or work at farms or factories. Players also have the option to sell the Pals or eat them.
The player’s goal is to survive as food is scarce, and danger awaits them at each corner. Players can also mount Pals to traverse the land, skies, and seas to find all this world offers. Palworld also released their Sakurajima expansion this year, bringing loads of content for PS5 players to explore.
In other news, Nintendo and the Pokemon company have sued Palworld developer Pocket Pair. Also, Palworld won’t be going free-to-play. What are your thoughts on Palworld releasing for PS5? Let us know in the comments or our new community forum!
