Astro Bot Free DLC Announced, Includes 5 New Speedrun Levels

PlayStation and Team Asobi have revealed Astro Bots free DLC, which will launch in fall 2024 and contain five speedrun levels and 10 new Astro Bots to unlock.

The announcement came during today’s PlayStation State of Play, and you can watch the full announcement below:

Studio Head of Team Asobi, Niolas Doucet announced that the team has “a few surprises” as a part of the free DLC, so we’ll have to wait for an announcement later this year on what exactly that entails.

But for now, at least, we’ve got a glimpse of the five new speedrun levels, which were hugely popular in the free version of the Astro Bot game that came with the PlayStation 5.

Astro Bot launched on September 6, 2024, on the PlayStation 5, receiving a 94/100 on the review aggregator Metacritic, with many believing the game will win Game of The Year at The Game Awards.

What do you think of the first glimpse of the new DLC? Let us know in the official Insider Gaming Forums.
