After over two years in early access, Palworld’s big 1.0 release is right around the corner, and excitement levels are rising for the launch.
The creature-tamer from Pocketpair has endured a turbulent few years amid legal battles with Nintendo, but Palworld has emerged strong and still boasts one of the all-time highest concurrent player numbers on Steam.
Those numbers should spike again with the big 1.0 launch, and Insider Gaming has all the important details you need.
When is Palworld 1.0 Coming Out?

The full launch of Palworld and the big 1.0 release is set for Friday, July 10, 2026, and a swathe of changes is coming with the big update.
Developer Pocketpair has stated the 1.0 update comes with 27 pages’ worth of patch notes, and while the update won’t wipe existing save data, it’s advised that players start from scratch to get the full experience.
Palworld’s big 1.0 launch comes after an extensive period in early access, which began in January 2024, and arrives after Pocketpair’s legal action from Nintendo.
It’s safe to say it’s been a turbulent few years for Palworld, but 2026 is a big one for the game, with the 1.0 launch coming alongside the release of an official TCG.
What Time Does Palworld 1.0 Release?
Pocketpair has not announced a precise release time for Palworld 1.0, but has stated the plan is for the launch to take place around midday Japan time.
Like previous major updates, time zone differences mean those in the United States will be able to jump in earlier than the advertised launch date, with Palworld 1.0 arriving late evening.
However, these times are not exact, and are merely when Pocketpair plans to launch the game. As such, there could be delays, particularly if any issues arise when deploying the patch.
