No Man’s Sky developers have just released some new features for the title, including 8K at 30 fps support for the PS5 Pro.

No Man’s Sky PS5 Pro Update

With PS5 Pro released today, Hello Games has delivered an enhanced version of No Man’s Sky for the console, providing even more detail and better image quality during your spacefaring adventures. With the help of PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), No Man’s Sky will feature 4K at 60 fps and 8K at 30 fps modes on the PS5 Pro.

Moreover, the game will also feature improved lighting, ultra-quality reflections and higher-quality ambient occlusion across all modes.

Another new feature for No Man’s Sky is cross-save, which allows players to have a save file across all platforms. No Man’s Sky will also feature cross-play along with cross-save for last-gen and current-gen consoles, including the PS5 Pro, PS VR, and PS VR 2.

No Man’s Sky X Mass Effect

Lastly, the No Man’s Sky x Mass Effect collaboration drops today, as Hello Games joins in on N7 Day celebrations. Thanks to the partnership,  SSV Normandy SR1 will return to No Man’s Sky after its first appearance in 2021. For the next two weeks, players will have a “chance to encounter the Normandy in an overhauled version of the original mission and add it to their collection”.

  • That’s pretty awesome, but if it can run 8K @ 30 fps, how about 4K @ 120?

Either way, that’s really amazing to see.
