Nintendo Shows Off Ocarina of Time Remake’s Textured Foil Physical Packaging

Nintendo posted a new video showcasing the physical copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, which comes in special foil packaging.

Since Sony announced that PlayStation games will stop receiving physical copies in 2028, players have worried about when others will follow suit. However, players have been told earlier this month that Nintendo currently has no plans to ditch physical games, and they have just revealed a special physical case for their upcoming title.

Ocarina of Time Remake Physical Edition has a Textured Foil Design

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake pre-orders have just kicked off, and Nintendo has provided players with a closer look at the physical copy of the game. The physical edition features special textured foil packaging that gives the artwork a unique reflective effect when viewed from different angles. Interested players can purchase it now for the price of $69.99; however, you need to hurry, as it is only available while supplies last.

For those unaware, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake will arrive with completely overhauled visuals, voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, and symphonic orchestral music. The whole experience has been changed with the addition of jump and dash and other enhanced controls and modern camera movements. The remake has been described as a great entry point for players and it releases exclusively for the Switch 2 on November 5, 2026.
