Nintendo Indie World Showcase Coming Tuesday

Nintendo has announced that it will be holding an Indie World showcase on Tuesday at noon ET/5 pm GMT.

The showcase, which is scheduled to be 20 minutes long, will feature “new announcements and updates on indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch”.

The last Indie World showcase happened in April and featured news on games like Teslagrad 2, Rift of the NecroDancer, Cult of the Lamb, Shadows Over Loathing, and more.

Some indie games that have already been announced for the Switch include Ruffy and the Riverside, Snufkin, The Plucky Squire, and Pepper Grinder. It’s possible that more information, such as firm release dates, are part of the showcase.

Nintendo is actively working on the successor to the Nintendo Switch, according to various rumors and reports. However, it’s clear that the company isn’t done supporting its second-most successful console ever. As of September 30, the Switch has sold 132.46 million units, just behind the original Nintendo DS which sold 154.02 million.
