Nintendo has officially confirmed that its next Indie World Showcase will air on March 3, 2026, offering fans another glimpse at the exciting slate of independent titles heading to the Nintendo Switch in the months ahead.
The announcement was made via Nintendo Today!, with the presentation set to begin at 6 AM PT. As with previous Indie World broadcasts, viewers can expect a focused showcase highlighting a curated selection of indie projects, ranging from brand-new reveals to release date announcements.
Latest Indie World Showcase Is Imminent
Details remain relatively scarce for the upcoming Indie World Showcase, but Nintendo has revealed that it will be roughly 15 minutes long, so you shouldn’t need to set aside too much time if you want to catch it live.
The previous Indie World Showcase took place back in August, 2025, and it featured a showcase of similar length, full of new trailers and showcases. Some of the highlights were Balatro, Pizza Tower and Neva; fingers crossed that the upcoming 2026 showcase has just as much on offer.
With both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 continuing to serve as major platforms for indie developers, anticipation is building over what surprises could be in store. Whether you’re hoping for shadow drops, release dates, or entirely new IP reveals, this showcase could have something worth keeping an eye on.
