Insider Gaming Presents New Year, New Games 2027 Showcase On January 14

Insider Gaming is kicking off 2027 with our next major games showcase, as New Year, New Games 2027 officially arrives on Thursday, January 14, 2027.

Following our successful 28 Games Later Horror Showcase, New Year, New Games highlights games targeting a 2027 release. That means you’ll only see games that are releasing either in Early Access or 1.0, have major expansions or DLC, or a major update scheduled for 2027.

There’s no multi-year waiting here.

As with past Insider Gaming showcases, this event will feature back-to-back reveals and trailers from games and studios of all sizes. Following the broadcast, Insider Gaming will provide in-depth coverage of featured titles through individual interviews, articles on Insider-Gaming.com, a dedicated showcase newsletter, and content in the Insider Gaming App.

The show is currently scheduled to air on Thursday, January 14 at 3pm ET/8pm GMT and will air on all Insider Gaming platforms. We’ll also have a number of co-streaming partners airing the event.

Submit Your Game: Submissions open until November 25

Submissions for New Year, New Games 2027 are now open and will remain open until November 25, 2026. If you have any questions about the showcase, please contact [email protected].

Developers do not need to have finalized assets ready when submitting a game. An initial submission can include a general idea of what the team would be able to provide for the showcase.

Interviews for the showcase will take place through December 11, 2026, with all final assets due by Monday, January 4, 2027.

Only games targeting a 2027 release should be submitted. Early Access launches and major DLC releases are eligible for consideration, but games not aiming to release in 2027 should not be submitted.

Submit your game today using the form linked above and here. Or, if you’d prefer, you can email executive editor Mike Straw to talk about your game and learn more about the show.

When Is the New Year, New Games 2027 Showcase?

New Year, New Games 2027 will air on Thursday, January 14, 2027, across multiple YouTube and social media channels. The broadcast is expected to run between 60 and 90 minutes, featuring a continuous lineup of trailers and game reveals.
