A new trailer for Sonic Superstars has been revealed at this year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley. On top of that, it was announced that the game will release on XXX
The new trailer gives a look at the gameplay and new levels coming to the new 2D Sonic adventure. Players even get a look at the new battle mode coming to the game that features multiple games and character customization.

First revealed back in June at Summer Games Fest, Sonic Superstars features drop-in co-op gameplay. Players will be able to play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy Rose. When it releases on October 17, the game will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
