New Forza Motorsport Details Revealed

During the Xbox Developer_Direct on Wednesday, Turn 10 Studios revealed new Forza Motorsport details for fans of the series.

At launch, Forza Motorsport will feature over 500 cars that players can collect, including over 100 cars never seen in the series. In addition, there are over 800 unique upgrades to customize your cars as you see fit.

Turn 10 Studios calls Forza Motorsport the “most technically advanced racing game ever made”. The game features new materials and shaders that have been built from the ground up. The game will also feature improved paint visuals, including with thickness and chipping. Dirt accumulation on vehicles is also seeing an improvement on the side of realism.

From a sound standpoint, Forza Motorsport will include a new regional track announcer system as well as improved tire and suspension audio.

The game will launch with 20 environments that were “built from the ground up for this generation”. The locations will be a mix of classic environments and five brand-new locations, including one in South Africa.

Lastly, the game will have a fully dynamic daytime cycle with weather system. This will see races change in an instant from lap to lap.

Forza Motorsport launches in 2023 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
