A new story trailer has released for DOOM:” The Dark Ages, giving more background story into what the game entails.
The new trailer was released by the Bethesda Softworks YouTube channel, giving a better glimpse of what the story entails this time around with the Doom Slayer.

“Developed by id Software, DOOM: The Dark Ages is the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal that tells an epic cinematic story worthy of the DOOM Slayer’s legend. In this third installment of the modern DOOM series, players will step into the blood-stained boots of the DOOM Slayer, in this never-before-seen dark and sinister medieval war against Hell,” the story trailer description reads.
Earlier this month, two new Xbox controllers themed around DOOM where revealed, one of which being a wireless controller and the other being an Xbox Elite (Series 2). In addition, a DOOM Xbox Wrap for the Xbox Series X was also revealed.

DOOM: The Dark Ages releases May 15, 2025, for the Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and PC.
