Mysterious ‘Space Tarkov’ Game Unveils Freaky Figure and ‘Future is Set’ Slogan

If you’ve been anywhere close to Nikita Buyanov and Escape from Tarkov in the last couple of months, you’ll have stumbled across something called ‘COR3’, a strange sci-fi concept that looks like an all-new game. It’s yet to be confirmed, but a trailer was published a few weeks back, which did little to clear things up.

In a new image posted on social media, we see a bizarre humanoid character with augmentations and deep, black eyes, who appears to be emerging from some kind of wormhole. He’s standing behind a blurry armed figure, and at the base of the image is a new slogan: ‘Future is Set.’

COR3 Needs More Information

Aside from the perplexing ARG that has kept the Escape from Tarkov community busy for a while, almost nothing is known about COR3. In February, a trailer was released for the title, showcasing a wrecked landscape on Mars, decimated spacecraft, and floating cosmonauts flipping the bird.

Since then, the developer (whoever that might be) has posted a string of images on socials, uncovering tiny tidbits about the project. We still don’t know if it is called COR3, as it could just as easily be called Blue Mars, which was the codename given to the first trailer, uploaded on February 1.

Until now, we have just known that Nikita Buyanov busied himself with the representation of the project, but given that he’s neck-deep in still finessing Escape from Tarkov, it’s unlikely he’s heavily invested in COR3.

But what’s up with the latest image?

Again, we’re told almost nothing by this image, but we now have some kind of slogan. The space theme is front and centre once again, and the armed figure at the base of the image is reminiscent of the soldier we saw traipsing through a ruined settlement in the first trailer.

It’s hard to pin down what we’re looking at, and players are still trying to solve the ARG that has already uncovered some of the project’s lore.

Many have argued that the reveal of the game, if that’s what this is, is being dragged out a bit too long.

What do you think? Is this the first you’re hearing of this project? Let us know on the Insider Gaming Discord server.
