Insider Gaming understands that the Modern Warfare 3 Internal Alpha under the codename ‘HailStröm’ has ramped up playtesting ahead of the game’s official reveal.
As previously reported by Insider Gaming, Modern Warfare 3 is set to be revealed in early August and has the codename ‘Jupiter’.
An image of HailStröm was kindly provided by @PlayStationSize, who also revealed the current size of the internal alpha is around 20GB. Although we cannot share the image of the internal alpha due to potential copyright violations, it will likely be embedded below from Twitter once found by a community member.
Despite Modern Warfare 3 being this year’s Call of Duty title, not much is officially known about the game. Insider Gaming understands that the game is a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2 and was intended to be a massive expansion for Modern Warfare 2 for a brief time.
