In an epic crossover that many saw coming, Elden Ring has been fused with Hogwarts Legacy by way of a massive and remarkably well-built mod. It was created by Garden of Eyes, a modding team that has fleshed out many sizeable mods for the Elden Ring platform, including a God of War Ragnarok crossover.
Now, in true wizarding fashion, fans can make use of the sizeable mod to fly around The Lands Between on the back of a broomstick, cast iconic spells from the Hogwarts universe, and even assume the identity of a rather hilarious-looking rendition of the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter.
Play Hogwarts Without Playing Hogwarts
Hogwarts Legacy is a dramatically successful game, and it has proven its ability to smash records over and over again since it was released mere weeks ago. It topped Twitch charts, broke concurrent player records, and decimated sales charts all around the world.
Despite only having existed for a short period of time, modders have already started having fun with the game. It was revealed just days ago that one user had created the foundations of a multiplayer mod, bringing cooperative play to Hogwarts Legacy.
Now, Garden of Eyes has gone one step further, bringing Hogwarts Legacy well and truly into Elden Ring through a series of well-built key elements, as showcased by this gameplay video:
This mod brings a whole new level of verticality to Elden Ring, as players soar around the map atop a high-powered broomstick. They can go face-to-face with some of the game’s toughest bosses while riding one, which makes for some hilariously complex engagements.
There is also a wide range of spells available, with players having the ability to cast the ultimate spell – the killing curse, Avada Kedavra. It doesn’t end there, though – Garden of Eyes has stated that if the above video reaches a certain number of likes, they’ll develop a Quidditch minigame for Elden Ring.
At the moment, fans looking to enjoy the huge Elden Ring mod will need to subscribe to Garden of Eyes’ Patreon, whereupon they can find the full mod launcher for the game.
