The Esports Foundation has unveiled the invited teams to the Esports Nations Cup 2026 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament. 16 nations have received invites, with 16 more set to progress through regional qualifiers.
The players invited include representatives from Team Liquid Philippines, Team Falcons, and one of the recent winners of the MLBB Mid Season Cup at EWC, where Spirit prevailed.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang topped the viewership charts of all Esports World Cups so far. EWC 2026 was no exception, peaking at over 2,890,568 viewers and over 45 million hours watched, according to data from Esports Charts.
Therefore, the Esports Nations Cup MLBB tournament is sure to have a lot of eyes on it, and national pride on the line. The game is especially popular in Southeast Asia, with Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Malaysia amongst the invited teams.
However, that is not to imply the game is one region. The United States, Germany, Brazil, India, and Egypt are amongst the other invited teams, with Saudi Arabia’s home representatives amongst the top teams competing.
The Russian players from Team Spirit’s EWC 2026-winning roster will not be there due to restrictions placed on Russian players participating in team disciplines. However, their German member, Mathaios ‘Kid Bomba’ Panagiotis Chatzilakos, will be there for Germany.
