The store page for Minecraft Dungeons 2 on the Nintendo Switch 2 has seemingly leaked the price and release date for the upcoming sequel.
Originally announced back in March 2026 with a short and brief trailer, it seems like there will be a quick turnaround between announcement and release, with the hack-and-slash title joining an already stacked September line-up.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 Releasing September 29, 2026
It seems like some eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the store page for Minecraft Dungeons 2 has been updated, revealing a September 29, 2026, release date. It joins an already packed September release window, with every game avoiding November for some reason…
Reddit user Howerev posted a screenshot of the store, alerting fans that Minecraft Dungeons 2’s page update had been made, and lo and behold, if you head to it for yourself, you’ll see the changes clear as day.
Priced at $29.99 USD, a host of other details have been made available, including an estimated game file size of 6.8GB, as well as both local and online four-player multiplayer—as expected based on the original.
To top things off, pre-order details have appeared, with two hero skins, the Twisted cape, and the Twisted chicken pet up for grabs. These leaks have likely arrived ahead of an official reveal during either Summer Game Fest or the XBOX Games Showcase: expect a new trailer in the coming days.
