Xbox Games Other Consoles

Microsoft has officially announced that four first-party Xbox games that are coming to other consoles.

During Xbox Business Update podcast on Thursday, Xbox head Phil Spencer announced that the company will be bringing select games to competing platforms like the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. Though Spencer didn’t want to name the games, The Verge has revealed what the four games will be.

Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment will be the first two games to release followed by Sea of Thieves and Grounded. These games will be coming to both PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

“I do have a fundamental belief that over the next five or ten years exclusive games, games that are exclusive to one piece of hardware, are going to be a smaller and smaller part of the game industry,” Spencer said during the podcast.

Spencer added that not every Xbox exclusive game will be coming. The decisions, he said, comes down to what makes sense for Xbox and the developers.
