Metroid Prime 4: Beyond releases on December 4 , as announced during today’s Nintendo Direct.
The long-anticipated entry in the Metroid Prime series, Beyond brings heroine Samus to Viewros. There, she’ll uncover the planet’s mysteries with the help of her new psychic powers. Revealed way back in 2017, the game has been in the works for quite some time. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long to play it.

Announced during the Nintendo Direct, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond launches on December 4. In the trailer, shown above, we see Samus riding the Vi-O-La bike and taking out various enemies.
The development of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has been a long one. With the last entry, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, being released in 2007, fans have been fairly patient for the next installment. Furthermore, Beyond had restarted production two years in, moving to Retro Studios. It’s been a winding road but, finally, fans can rest easy knowing, come December 4, the game will be in their hands.
