Following an incredible showing during the Xbox Games Showcase, we now know a bit more about the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta. More specifically, we saw plenty of story details and gameplay. But do we know the Metal Gear Solid Delta release date?
When is Metal Gear Solid Delta Coming Out?
Based on the Metal Gear Solid Delta trailer we saw recently, we know the stealth-action remake is coming sometime in 2025. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have a precise release date, but considering the quality of what we saw at the showcase, we imagine it’ll be sometime in early 2025.
Of course, that’s not a guarantee. It might wind up being summer or even fall, so we’ll have to wait for more information.
Metal Gear Solid Delta is a full-blown remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater from 2004. It features a modern control scheme, all-new graphics, and better audio. At the same time, it will retain the storyline and world we know and love!

How Much Will Metal Gear Solid Delta Cost?
According to leaks that we previously reported on, we have a good indication as to the total cost of Metal Gear Solid Delta. Supposedly, the stealth-action game is priced at:
- Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – Standard Edition
- $69.99
- Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – Collector’s Edition
- $199.99
It’s unclear precisely what the collector’s edition includes, but we imagine it’ll include many fun physical items. At that price, we may even end up with a Snake statue!
