Insiders Claim Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake to Have PlayStation Exclusivity

Two insiders have claimed that Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will have some form of PlayStation exclusivity.

On the latest episode of the XboxEra podcast, co-cost Shpeshal_Nick said, “Another game I’ve heard that might be at the PlayStation showcase is the rumored Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake. I’ve heard that it might be at this PlayStation Showcase, and might also have some exclusivity with it.”

Another gaming insider, Jez Corden weighed in on the rumor on Twitter, stating, “Heard similar about Metal Gear exclusivity for PlayStation btw.”

It’s been claimed a number of times by industry insider Jeff Grubb that a new PlayStation Showcase event is likely to happen before Summer Game Fest. Such claims have led people to believe that the event is likely going to be at the end of May, but as of yet, no official announcement has been made by Sony.

Whatever the case may be as to when the PlayStation Showcase will happen, Sony does have a lot of things to show. From gameplay of Spider-Man 2 to its new PlayStation hardware, Sony undoubtedly has to have a new PlayStation showcase soon.
