Madden 24 is still going strong as one of the top-selling games of the year, but that doesn’t mean work isn’t being done on the next installment of the annual series. Some of that work is set to cover the broadcast team as Madden 25 will reportedly have new announcers for the first time since Madden 17.
According to NFL analyst Charles Davis, who’s been on the game for the last eight years, Madden 25 is going to hear new people in the virtual booth.
“They are going to expand, I don’t know if you’ve seen it or heard it yet, but there’s going to be multiple announce teams going forward,” Davis said during an appearance on the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show. “So that gives you the opportunity to change up who you’re listening to.”
Davis didn’t mention who else would be coming to Madden 25 as announcers but did admit he understood players wanting more options for commentary.
“I think, at this point, a lot of people would say, ‘If I hear Davis’ voice one more time, I’m going to do something to get me in trouble,'” he said.
“It’s been a heck of a run. The holy grail.”
