Lords Of The Fallen Gets A New Trailer Showcasing Combat And More

During the Future Games Show on Saturday, Lords of the Fallen received a brand new trailer showcasing the game’s combat, setting, and more.

In the game, there are new mirrored worlds of the living and the dead which are linked to each other. Each world will have unique enemies and areas to fight and explore, giving players a varied experience. And like the Dark Souls games that inspired Lords of the Fallen, the bosses will tower over the player and provide tough fights that will test the patience of even the most skilled players.

Set 1,000 years after the events of the 2013’s Lords of the Fallen, the upcoming game will serve as a complete reboot of the franchise. Hence the name remains the same. The game will allow players to go through the campaign alone, or invite a friend to help progress in what developer Hexworks calls “uninterrupted, online co-op”.

With the two aforementioned worlds, players who enter the world of the dead will have to progress in order to get back into the world of the living.

Lords of the Fallen launches Friday, October 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
