The next souls-like adventure by CI Games, Lords of the Fallen 2, has been finally revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL) 2025, arriving in 2026
August seems to be a great month for Lords of the Fallen fans, as CI Games has been constantly coming up with new announcements. At the start of this month, the title received a permanent price cut (over 50% for consoles) across all platforms. Lords of the Fallen 2 was confirmed soon after, and now we have the official reveal.

“Lords of the Fallen II is a dark fantasy action-RPG where brutal, soulslike combat meets a world splitting at its core,” the trailer’s description reads. “Battle against the darkness in an epic adventure across a shattered kingdom. One world. Two realms. No mercy.”
About Lords of the Fallen
While you wait for Lords of the Fallen 2, you might want to check out the original game first. The first title is a souls-like, RPG adventure where the player journeys through two expansive interconnected worlds to overthrow the demon God Adyr. There are more than 100 weapons to master, along with devastating magic abilities to take on a variety of enemies and bosses.
The game also features an advanced game modifier system that allows players to customise their journeys even further, including adjusting enemy density, randomised loot, pre-upgraded weapons, permadeath, and more. There are nine classes, each with its unique skill trees and upgrades. Interested players can also check out the online co-op mode.
Lords of the Fallen Version 2.0 Update
The game recently received a massive update, version 2.0, which overhauled certain systems, introduced new features, and addressed numerous issues. The update includes shared-progression crossplay co-op, a free friend’s pass, revamped combat and movement, a dedicated jump button, a full weapon audio overhaul, modernized UI & HUD options, an improved tutorial experience, and Umbral Lamp guidance.
