The night is darkest just before the dawn, and the dawn of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is right around the corner, although a major Xbox leak has made the game accessible for some early.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set for full release on May 22, landing as the latest TT Games LEGO title and the first since LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in 2022, but some have reportedly been able to dive into the adventure early.
For all the details on exactly what is going on with the LEGO Batman Xbox leak, Insider Gaming has you covered.
What is The LEGO Batman Xbox Leak?

The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Xbox leak is a major issue that has occurred for the game prior to launch, with some players who received a redeemable code for Xbox able to access the full game weeks before the launch of the title.
Details of the leak began to emerge over social media in recent days, with players reportedly able to access the full game after receiving their code, with an apparent error on the Xbox Store opening the doors for some players.

There were some significant restrictions, however, as it seems codes were only available from certain retailers, like Walmart, and those who pre-ordered digitally from the Xbox Store could not access the game.
A patch has since been deployed that prevents the access of the game, however, but some have stated that playing offline is still available.
Can You Play LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Early?
The ability to play LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight early on Xbox via a redeemable code seems to have been patched, and users who had previous access to the game have now been locked out.
While it may still work for those who had access by playing offline, there could be significant repercussions for anyone who tries to skirt around the release date, even though the error occurred on Xbox’s side.

As such, even attempting to play LEGO Batman early in this way is not advised, but there is a way to obtain early access to the game before the more widespread release period.
Those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition are entitled to up to 72-hours of early access to LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, with the full game playable from May 19, instead of the widespread May 22 release date.
